I'm Not Going Anywhere - Howe

03 May 2010 11:51
Eddie Howe has declared that he's not going anywhere as he takes the Cherries in to League One. With mouth watering League fixtures against the likes of Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday, and possibly Charlton Athletic, plus the 'usual suspects' in the form of Bristol Rovers, Brighton & Hove Albion, Exeter City, Brentford bringing large crowds back to Dean Court, managare Eddie Howe has declared that he's not going anywhere for the 2010/2011 season. The ever popular manager is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I will be here next season. I think it’s exciting times for the club and for everybody, and I want to be a part of that. I’m already excited about next season and trying to compete with the teams that are in League One. As soon as we knew for a fact that League One was where we were going to be, we started preparing for that. We’re already preparing for pre-season and getting things in place that we want, so the planning process starts now, which I think it has to because it’s a tough league and a big step up, so we need to be ready for it. You plan short-term – from week to week and game to game. But there always has to be a long-term aim in the background and you have to work to that. Year on year, we want to try to improve. I think the core group of players is very strong and we will want to keep them together and maybe try to add a couple to that core group. Hopefully, we will have enough to compete in the league".
