The Murry group, headed by Eddie Mitchell and made up of Neill Blake, Jeff Mostyn, Steve Sly and Adam Murry, assumed control of the League Two club on Tuesday. The Cherries overcame a 17-point deduction last season, thanks largely to the astute leadership of rookie manager Howe. And Blake, who is the club's new director of operations, is keen to tie the 31-year-old to a new deal at Dean Court. "Securing Eddie is potentially one of the biggest tasks we have now," Blake told Bournemouth's official website. "We are close to agreeing terms and ensuring he is here for a long term will go a long way to stabilising the club."
