Eddie Howe has heaped praise on Jason Tindall for his part in helping the Cherries gain automatic promotion. Although Eddie Howe has been hailed a hero, and rightly so, over the past 18 months or so, the part played by assistant manager Jason Tindall. Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Eddie Howe is quoted as saying: "I want to make the point that we’re a team. Jason and I are a partnership. I’ve always looked at it that way. He’s been brilliant and has worked very, very hard. We ask the players to work really hard and, in turn, we have to work hard. We have to set an example and Jason has done that without me even asking him to. We go to games together – a lot of games – and he puts in the hours. He’s got a young family and has got two kids, but he does the work because he wants success for the team and the club. I can’t praise enough his role. He’s also a very good coach and is always out on the training pitch trying to improve the players. I’m sure the players appreciate what he’s done this year and what an important role he’s played".
