Veteran Steve Fletcher scored the other as the Cherries moved back into second place in League Two on the back of their biggest home win of the season.[LNB]Pitman also missed three other clear-cut chances but Howe recognised his tenacity and determination to make up for his failures.[LNB]He said: "One of the big reasons he has been a success is that he does not go missing when things are not going right for him. It is a great strength to have for a centre-forward. He takes responsibility and does not mind if he's failed once or twice."[LNB]Howe's side have now lost only once in seven matches and are back in contention for automatic promotion following their failure to beat lowly Macclesfield last Saturday.[LNB]The mananger added: "We had numerous chances in the first half and I was disappointed when we were level at half-time. We should have been two goals ahead at least. I told the players to be patient and said the goals would come and that is what happened."[LNB][LNB]
