Howe keen to maintain standards

The Cherries are already being tipped to challenge strongly for promotion after they embarked on a fine run in the closing weeks of the campaign to beat the drop. The achievement won Howe and his players rich praise as they began the season on minus 17 points but the rookie boss believes that hard work will again hold the key to their on-field fortunes. Howe said: "The lads are enjoying their rest at the moment and they deserve that, but they will come back and straight away we will demand that they work hard. "With the team spirit and the hard work, we know we have the players here to achieve success, but we can never for a moment let those vital elements slip."
