Lovell began his career with the Cherries before moving to Portsmouth in 1999 and is currently a free agent after being released by Falkirk. Lovell scored one and made one in a 4-1 win over Dorchester on Tuesday night and Howe admits any move depends on getting the club's transfer embargo lifted. Howe told the club's official website: "I've made no secret of the fact that I'd love to get him here. "We are obviously embargoed and it's difficult so we will have to wait and see. "We are definitely an option for him but he has others as well so we'll have to see how the situation unfolds."
