Howe: It's our chance to put things right
BOSS Eddie Howe believes his players will face an interesting tactical battle as they look to bounce back in style against the League One leaders.[LNB] Howe admitted Cherries did not play to our full capabilities against Saints last weekend but they have the opportunity to put that right in a second consecutive south coast derby.[LNB] Cherries, third in the table, visit frontrunners Brighton tomorrow (12.15pm), with the clash to be televised live on Sky Sports.[LNB] Albion will provide a stern test for Cherries, as the hosts have not lost in the league for seven matches, a run which has seen them avoid defeat in third tier action since August 21. Gus Poyet's high-fliers have also found the net in all their league outings at Withdean this term.[LNB] Previewing the top-of-the-table meeting, Howe said: The players have been really good in training this week. I think we've had an excellent week and we can't wait to go again in what's another difficult game.[LNB] These are the games, the derbies in and around us, that we were crying out for last year when we were travelling up north for five hours on a coach.[LNB] It's a great game again for us, the players, the supporters and the football club, and it's one we're looking forward to.[LNB] Brighton have a unique way of playing and have had a great start to the season. They've almost brought a continental feel to the way they play.[LNB] It will be a really interesting tactical battle for us and one I'm sure the players will enjoy because, hopefully, it will be a good football match.[LNB] Brighton are a good side, they're in good form and it's another tough away day. We've had a few this season. So far, already, we've played Southampton, Charlton and Huddersfield, we've played the top teams, and this is another one to go in that group.[LNB] Howe added: Once you've been beaten, especially in the manner we were, we just want to play again.[LNB] It's been a long week but a good week, but we're keen to get back out there and try to put it right.[LNB] Take everything out of it, we're disappointed with the way we played on Saturday. We know we can do better, so we'll be looking to respond and, hopefully, we can respond with a positive result.[LNB] Cherries are sweating on the fitness of central defender Ryan Garry, with Howe yesterday revealing the former Arsenal trainee had not trained this week due to flu.
