Howe: Cherries need to raise game

Andy Morrell netted his ninth goal of the season to leave the Cherries with plenty of work to do if they are to stay clear of the dreaded League Two drop zone. Howe said: "We're still in the box seat [to stay in the Football League] but we've got to get results. That's two defeats on the spin and we're bitterly disappointed. "We've got some hard games coming up and we've got to turn the corner. They are all challenging fixtures, all the teams in and around us are having a right fight and a real go. "We need to step up to the plate and realise the job's not done. There's still a long way to go. No-one is going to give it to us [safety], we've got to fight for it and demand it ourselves. "The disappointing thing is that it almost seemed as though we were sitting back and waiting for something to happen. But you can't do that in football, you've got to make it happen yourselves. That's what disappoints me."
