Home Away From Home For Wiggins

Rhoys Wiggins feels right at home at Dean Court, where he's made more appearances than his previous clubs combined. Loanee, Rhoys Wiggins feels right at home in red and black given the success he has enjoyed at Dean Court during his two loan spells. Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Wiggins is quoted as saying: "The players make me feel like I’m one of them. We do a lot together as a squad and a few are from where I come from in London so that makes it a lot easier as well. Most of my appearances have come for Bournemouth so I’m glad Eddie brings me down and gives me the chance. He has been great for progressing my career so far and I can’t thank him and Jason enough. The win against Burton reminded me of the end of last season but for even better reasons. I enjoyed every minute of it, especially the end. The game went to plan and we knew we would probably need the three points to make sure. I don’t think Eddie knew that we knew, but some of us knew that Rotherham were winning at half-time. That just encouraged us and spurred us on to get the three points. We knew what we had to do and knew we couldn’t rely on anyone else".
