Hollands relishing challenge
Hollands remains on the comeback trail from knee surgery and played the full 90 minutes for the Cherries' reserves on Monday.
With Mark Molesley and Anton Robinson impressing in the middle of the park for Eddie Howe's promotion contenders, Hollands admits he has his work cut out to get back in the side.
He told the Bournemouth Daily Echo: "It will be a tough battle for me to get back in the team.
"It's healthy for the whole squad. In some ways, if you go out and play and no one is pushing for the shirt, you might take your foot off the gas.
"But it (the competition for places) gives you that extra incentive to get back in the team."
