Hollands: Cherries sticking together

04 February 2010 17:05
The Cherries, who avoided relegation out of the Football League last season despite a 17-point deduction, have been under a transfer embargo for the last year.[LNB]And despite managing with a threadbare squad that has been struck by injuries, manager Eddie Howe has guided his side to an amazing run of form this term that sees them currently occupy second spot.[LNB]"As players, it just gets our backs up that we aren't allowed to bring in other players. But as a squad, we are trying to make sure we become stronger and better for it," Hollands told the Bournemouth Echo.[LNB]"We've been through a lot in the past few years and it has made us stronger as a group. This (transfer embargo) is another hurdle that we are determined to overcome.[LNB]"We are desperate to achieve something as a group. Our focus is to put something on the board."[LNB][LNB]
