AUSSIE centre-half Scott Guyett is set to ease Cherries' defensive shortage within the next fortnight as he closes in on a return to action.[LNB] The former Yeovil Town and Chester City star is on the comeback trail after undergoing knee surgery.[LNB] He is already doing ball work and is on course to return to full training in about 10 days.[LNB] With Cherries short on recognised central defenders if first-choice pair Jason Pearce and Ryan Garry suffer an injury, the news of Guyett's impending return will be welcome for boss Eddie Howe.[LNB] I'm out on the pitch doing running now, so I've got the boots on, which is a good feeling, he said.[LNB] It's coming along well and I've not had any setbacks, which is a good thing, because one of the things you dread as an injured player is getting back and getting to a point, then having further problems with it.[LNB] Hopefully at some stage next week I'll be able to join in.[LNB] Guyett made nine appearances this season before the injury struck, forcing him to go under the knife in October.[LNB]
