Groves Targets Miles

It will come as no surprise that one Summer transfer target is Miles Addison.

Manager, Paul Groves, has gone on record as wanting to try and do a deal to bring Miles Addison to Dean Court as part of a permanent move.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, the Cherries boss is quoted as saying: "I think Miles has lots of qualities. He would be one we would look at trying to do something with. Whether we can is another issue because you have to take into account where Miles is in respect of playing for a Championship club, but that is something that will be looked into. He is contracted to the football club (Derby). We have spoken with Miles briefly with regards to his situation and that is something that has been assessed and spoken about over the course of a number of days. There are one or two players that we have in mind. It can end up being a long, drawn-out process at times and that is where you possibly have to be patient. You have to make sure that all the checks and background are done on the players to make sure they are the right players to take the club forward".
