Groves Pleased With Team

Caretaker manager, Paul Groves, praises his players following back to back draws.

Following back to back draws since taking over in the caretaker manager role, Paul Groves has gone on record to praise his players, being quoted on the Clubs Official Web Site as saying: "As a unit I think we've looked quite secure. The back four have been consistent, and made it difficult for the opposition to score easy goals. The chances the two teams have had against us were minimal, absolutely minimal, and that's over 180 minutes of football. We can count ourselves a bit unfortunate to have come away with Stevenage with a point after a game where they've had two fantastic strikes on goal. We've got good footballers here and we need to utilise them. If you can get the players we've got here into good areas I think you can hurt the opposition. We've changed things, we have our own ideas, but it doesn't happen overnight I'm afraid. It takes time to put a structure in place and a way of playing".
