Grabban's New Contract

AFC Bournemouth have announced that leading scorer, Lewis Grabban, has signed a new deal to remain with the Cherries.

The goals from Lewis Grabban have helped transform the Cherries in to a decent Championship side, with the front man so far bagging 7 goals so far this season.

His efforts have been rewarded with a contract extension, which takes the 25-year-old out to the Summer of 2016.

Speaking about the extended contract, Grabban is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "It is a good place to be and the club is on the rise so I see it as a positive thing to extend my stay here. This is one of the first times in my career that I have felt settled and that is why I didn’t really have to think too long about signing a new contract. As long as I keep my standards high and the club keeps going the way it is then, hopefully, I will be here. Sometimes, players go to clubs and it doesn’t work out and some clubs suit other players. I think I suit Bournemouth and the club suits me. That is why we were able to agree an extension to the contract".
