Defender Ryan Garry is sidelined following a shin operation, and will be out til the New Year. Ryan Garry will be out of action for a month following an operation to remove scar tissue from a shin, after pain killing injections failed to resolve the problem. Manager Eddie Howe is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "Ryan had no injury as such – no tackle or no pull – but pain in his shins just developed. The surgeon cleared out a lot of scar tissue so, hopefully, we have got to the bottom of the problem. It’s a big blow to lose Ryan but we’ve been without him for a while now so we’ll have to carry on and look to get him back as quickly as we can".
