Garry couldn't even remember goal
Garry suffered an elbow in the face after heading Bournemouth's 45th-minute winner and was unable to take the field for the second half due to concussion.
Cherries boss Eddie Howe said: "Ryan looked distinctly groggy when he came in at half-time and raised a chuckle among his team-mates when he confessed he couldn't even remember his goal.
"That was incredible, because it was the first goal he's ever scored in what's been an injury-dogged career both at Arsenal and with us."
Despite a 4-0 Carling Cup blip in midweek, Bournemouth lie second in the table after two wins from their opening two games - a far cry from last season when, after a 17-point deduction, they were fighting off relegation right until the final day of the campaign.
"It's two wins in two, but everyone's feet are on the ground. We've made a pleasing start but it means nothing yet and it's important supporters realise that," added Howe.
