After the farcical postponement of the Bristol Rovers match on Tuesday, AFC Bournemouth have offered free coach travel to Bristol Rovers, when the date is known. After the late postponement of the Bristol Rovers match on Tuesday, Eddie Mitchell has offered free coach travel to the re-arranged game at The Memorial Ground. Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Mitchell is quoted as saying: "I didn’t get to see the pitch so am not in a position to pass comment on it. I do know, however, that it was a fair distance to go to have to just turn around and come straight back. I am sure a lot of our supporters had taken time off work to get there “It was disappointing for our supporters to have the game called off so late, particularly as it was the second time this season that it had happened. We want as many fans as possible to make the return trip. Those that travelled deserve a free return trip and we would like to extend this to other supporters as well".
