Franchise Reaction - Cherries II

22 August 2012 20:07
Here's further post match reaction from the Cherries camp following the 1-1 draw on Tuesday evening.

Man of the match elect (until half time), Harry Arter, is quoted on the Clubs Official Web Site as saying on the draw as saying: "It’s definitely two points dropped. We were in control of the game in both halves but didn’t turn our dominance into goals. I thought we could have held on to the lead and come away with all three points, but to get just one is disappointing. We were pleased with our performance in the first half but it’s a game of two halves, and to have been in control and not won is the most frustrating thing. They will be pleased because they didn’t really deserve anything but they’ve nicked a point. He caught me quite high and I didn’t actually realise he had been sent off until the physio came on. He just caught me quite high and that was it. I feel fine and it wasn’t too bad thankfully. You are on a high when you start, and you’re low when you don’t, but you’ve just got to try and stay level headed and the most of your opportunities when they come along. I was disappointed to come off and it’s never to be nice to be the one that has to, but I’m pleased I started. I hope I get the chance to play again on Saturday".
