Feeney wonder strike sinks Alex

Feeney struck five minutes into the second half when he picked up the ball 15 yards inside the opposition half and went past Crewe captain Billy Jones before rifling a powerful shot across keeper Adam Legzdins.[LNB]The 22-year-old Feeney could have had a hat-trick, stabbing wide after another electrifying run and then fired over the top as Bournemouth caught Crewe out as the Alex pushed for a late equaliser.[LNB]Crewe offered little in attack although their late rally saw Calvin Zola head just wide from a corner and Bournemouth keeper Shwan Jalal was called into action in the five minutes of injury time to beat away a shot from Crewe substitute Byron Moore.[LNB]Feeney's winner was the first goal Crewe had conceded in five and a half hours of football while Bournemouth have now gone three games without conceding a goal.[LNB][LNB]
