The draw for the third round of the FA Cup has been completed ...... who did the Cherries pull out of the hat?

For their win against Carlisle United, AFC Bournemouth were drawn against Premiership opposition in the form of Wigan Athletic.

This will be the 20th time AFC Bournemouth have visited Wigan Athletic since the Latics joined the League in the 1970s. To date Cherries have won 5, draw 4 and lost 10, the last encounter coming in September 2005 when the Cherries lost 1-0 in a League Cup match. The last time AFC Bournemouth won away at Wigan came in the Third Division Championship year when the Cherries recorded a 3-1 win at the old Springfield Park.
