Here's our round up of the FA Cup First round action involving League Ones sides. Table toppers, Brighton & Hove Albion were held to by Conference South outfit Woking at Withdean in a 0-0 draw. Also held by non-league opposition were Huddersfield Town who were up against Cambridge United at The Abbey Stadium where the Conference side held out for a 0-0 draw. Colchester United managed to edge Bradford City in a 7-goal thriller at their Community Stadium as the League One side won 4-3. Bond gave the Essex side the lead in the 7th minute, only to see Hanson level a minute later. Mooney responded for the U's in the 20th minute, which drew a response from Syers in the 32nd minute. Wilson restored the U's advantage in the 54th minute with Mooney doubled his tally with his second in the 64th minute, which prompted Hanson to double his tally in the 79th minute. Peterborough United will have to replay as they were held by Stockport County at Edgeley Park. Griffin gave County the lead in the 28th minute, with McLean levelling 8 minutes later. Charlton Athletic were surpsisingly held by League Two outfit Barnet, 0-0, at Underhill. South Coast Club eased their way past Shrewsbury Town at St Mary's with a 2-0 win, but left it late to do so as Connolly and Lallana scored right at the end of the match to book their place in the 2nd round. AFC Bournemouth managed to over come fellow League One side Tranmere Rovers at Dean Court in an 8-goal encounter. The Cherries raced in to a 3-goal lead as McQuoid (1st and 4th mins) and Pugh (7th min) put the Dorset side in command. Rovers, to their credit hit back through Cresswell (27th min), Goodison (42nd min) and Moore (53rd min) to level matters. McQuoid completed his hat trick in the 57th minute, with Feeney finishing off the scoring in the 61st minute to book the Cherries place in the second round. Carlisle United brushed Tipton Town aside with a 6-0 demolition of the non-leaguers at Brunton Park. Zoko (5th & 19th mins), Madine (9th, 12th & 41st mins) ended the contest leaving Madine to net his fourth of the match in the 82nd minute. Franchise FC were held 0-0 by Stevenage Borough at Broadhall Lane. Oldham Athletic were knocked out of the FA Cup by League Two side Accrington Stanley at Livingstone Road. Putterill (8th & 52nd mins) and Ryan (36th min) virutally killed the game before the Latics tried to rescue a replay with goals through Feeney (69th min) and Stephens (75th min), but it was too little too late. Bristol Rovers fell by the wayside as they were knocked out by Conference side Darlington at The Arena. Brough gave Darlo the lead in the 14th minute, with Hoskins levelling 3 minutes later. Snith scored the winner for the home side in the 57th minute. Rochdale were knocked out by Conference North side FC United of Manchester. Platt and Cotterill have the non-league outfit a 2-goal lead at Spotland in the 42nd and 49th minutes, which drew a response from Elding (53rd min) and Dawson (78th min), only to see a last gasp winner from Norton in the final few moments of the match. Brentford live to fight another day as they had to come from behind against League Two Aldershot Town at Griffin Park. Small gave the Shots the lead in the 13th minute, with MacDonald levelling 7 minutes later. Plymouth Arygle were well and truely undone by Swindon Town at Home Park as the Wiltshire side ran away with a 4-0 win to book their place in the second round. Goals from Morrison (23rd min), Austin (41st min), Pericard (52nd min) and Ritchie (69th min) simply blew the home side away. Exeter City were knocked out by League Two side Bury at Gigg Lane as the Lancashire side secured a 2-0 win, with goals coming from Sodje (28th min) and Lees (53rd min). Hartlepool United were held at home by non-league Vauxhall Motors. Dagenham & Redbridge and Leyton Orient managed to secure a replay following a 1-1 draw at Victoria Road. Green for the Daggers and Revell for the O's both scored just before the half time break. Notts County eased their way in the second round with a 2-0 winver Gateshead at Meadow Lane. Davies (22nd min) and Rodgers (83rd min) secured the win for the home side. Yeovil Town managed to edge past Rushden & Diamonds at Nene Park as Williams scored the only goal of the game in the 83rd minute. Struggling Walsall were pegged back by Fleetwood Town in a 1-1 draw at their Highbury Stadium. Richards gave the Saddlers the lead in the 4th minute, only to see Mullan level for the Conference side in the 50th minute. The only League One side not in action so far this weekend are Sheffield Wednesday, who travel to Haig Avenue to face Conference side Southport in Sunday lunchtime's live game.
