Manager Eddie Howe, speaking after the FA Cup win over Dagenham & Redbridge, was quoted on BBC Radio Solent as saying: "We probably could have scored more in the second half, we looked like a really, really good side going forward, some of our attacking play was excellent. Our strikers all looked a threat so it was great to score four goals and keep a clean sheet".
The subject of Wes Thomas came up following his recall from Portsmouth, where Eddie went on to say that: "He just picked up a hamstring strain during the week, his first day back in training he just picked up a little tweak so hopefully he won't be out too long".
