Exeter City Reaction - Cherries

09 March 2011 22:37
Here's the post match reaction from the Cherries camp after their disappointing defeat at St James's Park. Manager Lee Bradbury was disappointed with the performance in Devon, being quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "It hurts, but fair play to Exeter because they were the better side. They kept the ball well and we didn’t, which is disappointing because we are normally very good at that. But it was nowhere near good enough to compete with them. It was a learning curve for me and a result I want to quickly put behind me. Teams always have little blips and I will put this result down to that. We will go again on Saturday and it’s all about characters. We have to be strong and show self-belief because if someone had told Fletch and I that we would lose one game from 11 I would have snapped off their hand. Sometimes, you have to hold up your hands and admit you were beaten fair and square".
