Eddie delighted to see six Cherries subs

BOSS Eddie Howe is hoping he can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel regarding Cherries' continuing injury crises.[LNB] Howe had the rare luxury of being able to name no fewer than six substitutes for Cherries' League Two showdown at Notts County on Monday.[LNB] It was a far cry from their previous away game at Shrewsbury where Cherries' four-man bench had included twice-retired assistant boss Jason Tindall and 16-year-old schoolboy Jayden Stockley who had arrived late after being drafted in at the 11th hour.[LNB] Fit-again midfielders Sammy Igoe and Joe Partington were both unused subs during the 2-2 draw at Meadow Lane, while Liam Feeney was back in the starting line-up after recovering from a hamstring injury.[LNB] It was good to see six subs, said Howe, who still has Jason Pearce, Scott Guyett, Shaun Cooper and Mark Molesley on the injury list.[LNB] It shows we've got players coming back and we've got competition for places.[LNB] The lads know they have got to perform to keep the shirt and that's what the game is all about.[LNB] Hopefully, it won't be a problem again. We've been down as low as two or three so, to have six, is an embarrassment of riches for us![LNB] We've been used to it all season so I don't think it should affect us. If we get another injury crisis then it would, but, at the moment, we're in good shape.[LNB]
