Warren Cummings has been farmed out on loan to League Two side Crawley Town.

Ever popular Warren Cummings has been sent out on a months loan to Crawley Town to bolster the League Two sides bid for promotion.

The move was promoted given the lack of opportunity for Cummings at Dean Court, and was sold on the Scotsman by ex-Town players Fletcher and Tubbs.

The Crawley boss, Steve Evans was quoted on the move as saying: "Warren wanted to sign for us in preference to a few others and that was very important to me. Matt Tubbs and Steve Fletcher both told him he should join us instead of the other clubs who were trying to get him on board so I am grateful to both our former players for speaking so highly about us. Warren is a natural defender, has good pace and will fit perfectly with our style of play. He also likes to get high up the pitch and help the team create chances, while his delivery is superb. Warren can play left-back or left midfield and he really is a good addition to our squad".

Cummings made his debut against Torquay United as his new side slipped to a 1-0 home defeat.
