The midfielder, whose last appearance came nine months ago, has suffered two set-backs with his recovery since undergoing major hip surgery in the summer.[LNB]Cooper had initially set his sights on a January return but received his first delay when he required a series of injections to cure discomfort in the joint. And although he was ready to embark on a strict training programme his progress has been further hampered by the cold weather.[LNB]The 26-year-old told the Bournemouth Daily Echo: "I was hoping to start training soon but we've lost at least three weeks. The injections put me back a while and now the weather has put me even further behind.[LNB]"I couldn't put a date on when I might be back because I've got to see how I react to stepping things up. I know it's getting closer and I can start thinking about playing again. Then, it will be a case of trying to force my way into the team, although that won't be easy."[LNB]Meanwhile, the Cherries' League Two clash at Rotherham, postponed on January 9, has been rearranged for Tuesday, February 2 at 7.45pm.[LNB][LNB]
