Two players have put their names to new contracts to remain at Dean Court.

Putting name to paper are Joe Partington, who has signed a new 2-year deal to stay at Dean Court. Speaking on the Clubs Official Web Site, Partington is quoted as saying: "I can’t wait to get going again once I’m fit. The gaffer has come back and he sees me as a defender, which is something I completely agree with. I love working with him and Jason (Tindall) on the training ground. Obviously, they played at the back and have great knowledge, so I’ve really enjoyed learning from them. I’ve benefitted from their experience no end and I’ve learned a lot from Tommy too. He has played a lot of games even though he’s still young and he’s been great with me since he’s been here. I’m close to Cookie and I’ve spent a lot of time with Miles this summer, so it’s good to learn from those guys".

Also signing a new deal is Darryl Flahavan, who has signed a 1-year deal. Also speaking on the Clubs Official Web Site, Flahavan is quoetd as saying: "I’m really pleased. It’s been going on over the summer but there was never any doubt I wasn’t going to sign. I love it here and I’ve felt at home ever since I came here. There’s a great set of lads here, the staff are fantastic and the manager has been brilliant with me, so I’m delighted to be here and hopefully I can stay for a number of years. When you see the way the clubs is going, it’s really exciting and everyone wants to be part of that. When I signed here, I couldn’t have envisaged the club in the Championship two years later but that just shows the hard work that has gone on behind the scenes. It has come such a long way in a short space of time and who knows where we could be in the next three, four or five years? It’s great to be part of it because this is where I want to be".
