Cherries: We must stick together says Warren

CLUB captain Warren Cummings believes maintaining a strong sense of togetherness will be key as Cherries aim to capitalise on their lofty League One perch.[LNB] An unbeaten start under new boss Lee Bradbury has continued Eddie Howe's good work and Cherries remain in the hunt for promotion ahead of trips to struggling Walsall and Bristol Rovers.[LNB] Despite the disappointment of missing out on victory against Leyton Orient, Bradbury's men only trail leaders Brighton and are locked in a fierce battle with a host of clubs, including former Premier League outfits Southampton and Charlton, chasing a place in the second tier.[LNB] Cummings, who made his third consecutive start during the 1-1 draw with the Os, admitted conceding late goals was something Cherries needed to eradicate.[LNB] But the experienced defender, Cherries' longest-serving player, has faith in the club's quest for honours.[LNB] Cummings told the Echo: We're still in a fantastic position and nobody is going to beat themselves up about Orient's equaliser. We just have to eradicate late goals, if at all possible, in whatever way we can.[LNB] Looking ahead to the run-in, Cummings added: I would only swap places with one team in the league Brighton at the moment. We're in an amazing position and it's important we all stick together fans, management and players as one group.[LNB] We're going to need everyone and there are going to be results towards the end of the season that probably won't go our way.[LNB] But, in the main, if we can all pull together, I'm sure that we can get to achieve the things that we want to.[LNB]
