Cherries Want To Keep Squad Together

22 January 2011 21:08
AFC Bournemouth are planning on keeping the current playing squad together with NO player sales planned. With the January transfer window in full swing, and Eddie Mitchell quoted as saying that the Cherries are currently financiall sound, the stated intention is to keep the current playing squad intact. Lee Bradbury is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I want to keep everyone together. We’ve got where we have because the boys in the dressing room have got a great togetherness and something a bit special. I don’t say that lightly. In 15 years in the game, I’ve not been in a club that has got a team as together as ours. I’m happy with what I’ve got. If I can just keep the lads together, I’m more than happy to give it a go with them. I’ve got 100 per cent belief in them". This follows advances from Scunthorpe United for Jason Pearce and Marvin Bartley with offers totalling £150,000.
