Cherries wait on Symes

Bournemouth will monitor the fitness of striker Michael Symes ahead of their home clash with Dagenham & Redbridge. The former Accrington forward has missed the last two games due to a shoulder injury and his chances of facing the Daggers are rated as 50-50. Veteran striker Steve Fletcher could be back in the squad for the first time this season after spending eight weeks on the sidelines with a heel injury, but the best he can hope for is a place on the bench. Defender Stephen Purches could be back in contention after recovering from a rib injury, but the Cherries will be without a goalkeeper on the bench once again with Dan Thomas (knee) ruled out. Mark Molesley (foot) and Steve Lovell (ankle) are long-term absentees.
