AFC Bournemouth are to take another look at Winchester City striker Jamie White.

Following a series of injuries, Jamie White wasn't able to make it with (now Premiership) South Coast Club, being forced to take the scenic route via the non-League and Winchester City.

Now the youngster is about to feature for AFC Bournemouth as the 22-year old is to be checked out by the Cherries, being tipped to feature against his 'home' club in a pre-season friendly against City on July 28th.

Winchester City owner, Paul McCarthy, is quoted as saying about White: "He is going to sign a preliminary contract with me in the next couple of days so that we get something back for him. He will play against us for Bournemouth in a friendly at our place on July 28".

It's not the first time that White has been linked with AFC Bournemouth having trained with the Cherries under Lee Bradbury.
