Cherries: Tindall on bench after loan is blocked

Cherries' attempts to bolster their threadbare squad were this afternoon dashed.[LNB] Boss Eddie Howe had sought to bring in an emergency loanee ahead of yesterday's 5pm transfer deadline.[LNB] Doncaster Rovers youngster Mustapha Dumbuya was the player Howe had tried to bring in as the paperwork between the two clubs was completed at the 11th hour.[LNB] He is understood to have trained with Cherries this morning and stayed with the team at their Rotherham HQ ahead of this evening's League Two clash.[LNB] But the Football League blocked the move, leaving Cherries to select assistant manager Jason Tindall as their third outfield substitute at the Don Valley Stadium.[LNB]
