Cherries takeover deal still on

AFC Bournemouth chief executive Alastair Saverimutto remains positive that a takeover will be completed.A deal was due to be done over the weekend but details have still only been agreed in principle.Saverimutto told BBC Radio Solent: "They have agreed terms, and a seven- figure sum. It's just how we get it completed."The club have confirmed that only 40 to 50% of the Cherries' players' wages have been paid for last month.Bournemouth are back in the Football League's bottom two after only managing a draw 0-0 draw at home to Port Vale, while Grimsby Town were walloping Lincoln City 5-1.
