Cherries sweating on Bartley

Bournemouth midfielder Marvin Bartley is rated at 50/50 for the visit of Cheltenham. Bartley, who has been struggling with shin and calf problems, did not feature in Tuesday's impressive 3-1 win over promotion rivals Rotherham and remains a doubt for the Dean Court clash. Warren Cummins sits out the third and final game of his ban and Scott Guyett remains on the sidelines with a knee problem as manager Eddie Howe continues to work with an injury-ravaged squad. Howe was only able to name four substitutes at Don Valley Stadium, which included the assistant manager and a youth team player, so the Cherries have effectively 13 players to choose from. Veteran striker Steve Fletcher, who caused havoc against the Millers, continues to battle with a knee problem and with a vital game against Notts County coming up next Tuesday, Howe could be tempted to rest his striker. Sammy Igoe, Joe Partington, Mark Molesley and Shaun Cooper are all long-term absentees.
