Cherries Signed Tooting Defender?

An unlikely story has appeared saying that AFC Bournemouth have signed a defender from non-League Tooting. Tooting defender Mitchell Nelson is claiming that he has signed for AFC Bournemouth having been offered better terms to go to Dean Court than head off to either Reading or Crystal Palace. The defender is quoted as saying: "It feels great. Last year at Tooting I really missed not training and being around football every day. To go to a team that have just gone up to League One is a dream. It is all really exciting. I think Reading and Palace were both looking at giving me deals but Bournemouth contacted me and said they could offer me something better". Manager Eddie Howe wasn't able to comment on the rumour. The club has also been linked with Eastbourne Borough striker Liam Enver-marum who netted 16-goals last season.
