AFC Bournemouth have signed a defender on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Having seen Rhoys Wiggins depart for south east London, AFC Bournemouth have signed Scott Malone from Wolverhampton Wanderers through until January 7th 2012. The 20-year old has had loan spells with Burton Albion and Southend United previously. The Wolves youngster is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying on the move: "For me, coming on loan, I need to be one of the best two or three players every game, which is what I am aiming to do. Hopefully, we can be in and around the play-offs come Christmas, then hopefully I can extend my deal and push on later in the season. I need to push on now. I’m 20 and am not 17, 18 or 19 any more. I need to start producing the sort of football I can produce. I played for England at under-19 level so if I don’t play very well, I am harsh on myself. But if I want to play in the Premier League with Wolves, then I need to maintain those high standards. I played around 20 games in League One when I was younger so I know the pace of it now. Hopefully, I can be one of the best players in the league and have all the other teams talking about me".
