Cherries set to be unchanged
The Cherries have been blighted by injuries this season, but Howe reported no new problems following last weekend's victory at Accrington.
Sammy Igoe (bruised marrow) and Joe Partington (groin) are back in light training but neither player is likely to feature against the Mariners.
Jeff Goulding made his long-awaited return from an ankle injury with a brief appearance at Stanley and came through 90 minutes for the reserves in midweek.
But the striker is expected to remain on the bench once again along with Alan Connell, who played 45 minutes for the second string.
Scott Guyett is expected to be out for around six weeks with a knee problem, with Shaun Cooper also out until the New Year.
