Cherries chiefs were last night understood to be considering asking Notts County officials to foot the bill for a damaged changing room door.[LNB] Magpies goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel allegedly kicked the door in frustration as he entered the dressing room with his team trailing 2-0 at the interval.[LNB] The wooden frame above the door came away from the wall, while the hinges were also broken. County backroom staff were seen surveying the damage following the final whistle.[LNB] However, when quizzed by the Daily Echo, County manager David Kevan said he was unaware of the damage.[LNB] Schmeichel, the son of legendary Manchester United goalkeeper Peter, appeared upset as the two teams left the field following County's 2-1 defeat.[LNB] He initially refused to shake hands with some Cherries players, although then relented. Earlier, the Dane had been jeered by a section of the home support as he prepared to take a goal kick.[LNB] It remains to be seen whether Cherries will pursue the matter as relations between the two clubs are good.[LNB] County have agreed to share the Sky Sports broadcast kitty with Cherries when the sides meet at Meadow Lane next month.[LNB] And County director of football Sven Goran Eriksson was apparently full of praise for Cherries following last night's clash.[LNB] Former England manager Eriksson is understood to have complimented Cherries by describing their first-half showing as the best by any team against County this season.[LNB]
