Cherries: Pryce leaves Dean Court

Cherries have parted company with second-choice goalkeeper Ryan Pryce.[LNB] The 19-year-old has left the club by mutual consent after reaching agreement over the remainder of his existing contract.[LNB] Salisbury-born Pryce, who signed a new one-year deal in July, progressed through the ranks at Dean Court after joining the club in 2000.[LNB] He made four first-team appearances in 2007-08 and one last season.[LNB] His departure leaves Dan Thomas as Shwan Jalals understudy.[LNB] A second-year apprentice, Thomas was called up for bench duty for Cherries Johnstones Paint Trophy clash against Yeovil on Tuesday after Pryce had been hospitalised by a groin infection.[LNB] Thomas, 17, has again been named in the Cherries squad for Saturdays trip to Torquay.[LNB]
