Cherries priced out of Jason move

Speculation had grown that Howe was tracking Price, who was released by Doncaster and is currently preparing for Millwall's League One play-off final with Scunthorpe after spending the last part of the season on loan at the Den. But Howe is being realistic and knows it would be hard to lure Price to Dean Court. "Jason Price would be out of our league, financially. As much as I think he's a very good player, his wages would be far too high for us," the rookie boss told the Bournemouth Echo. "Given our financial situation, we have got to be very careful who we bring in, if anybody. "We currently have 20 players either under contract or awaiting decisions on new contracts and will only be permitted to carry a 20-man squad until the embargo is lifted."
