Cherries: Posh bid for Pearce accepted

Cherries have accepted a bid for Jason Pearce from Peterborough United.[LNB] Posh director of football Barry Fry told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph that the Championship new boys are now awaiting talks with Pearce over personal terms after Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell accepted an offer, believed to be in the region of £500,000, for the defender.[LNB] Fry said: "Bournemouth have accepted our offer for Pearce and I'm waiting to talk to the player."[LNB] The news of the bid being accepted was first revealed by the Daily Echo on Twitter late last night.[LNB] Meanwhile, the South London Press reports that Cherries have turned down a £300,000 bid for from Charlton for defender Rhoys Wiggins.[LNB] More on this story later.[LNB]
