Cherries: Pitman Blackpool move could fall through

BRETT Pitman's proposed move to Premier League new boys Blackpool was tonight in the balance.[LNB] Sources close to the Echo claim Pitman has not yet put pen to paper at Bloomfield Road after failing to agree personal terms.[LNB] Pitman was understood to have undergone a medical in the North West earlier this afternoon, but despite lengthy talks with the Seasiders, no deal has been reached.[LNB] It is understood Pitman could yet be available for Cherries' League One clash at Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.[LNB] Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell gave the striker permission to talk to boss Ian Holloway after accepting a bid, understood to have been in the region of £600,000, for Cherries' prized asset.[LNB] More on this story as it develops.[LNB]
