Cherries: Partington and McQuoid called up for internationals
YOUNGSTERS Josh McQuoid and Joe Partington have both been called up for international duty ruling them out of Cherries Johnstones Paint Trophy clash against Yeovil and the League Two visit to Torquay.
McQuoid has been called up for Northern Irelands European Under-21 Championship qualifying matches in the Czech Republic on Friday, September 4 and at home to Iceland on Tuesday, September 8.
Partington, meanwhile, has been called up by Wales for their qualifying match at home to Italy on September 4.
The pair will miss the cup tie at home to Yeovil Town a week tomorrow and the league encounter at Torquay on Saturday, September 5.
