Cherries: Molesley rocked by fresh injury blow

Cherries star Mark Molesley has been rocked by the news that he will be out for the rest of this season and maybe even the start of next.[LNB] Molesley is facing another lengthy spell on the sidelines after breaking down during the latter stages of his rehabilitation following a foot injury.[LNB] The midfielder, who has already been laid up for five months, had major surgery in an attempt to rectify the damage in January.[LNB] But he will again have to go under the knife after the problem flared as he tried some light jogging exercises.[LNB] Revealing the news to the Daily Echo, Cherries boss Eddie Howe said: We all feel desperately sorry for Mark. I've been where he is and it's not a good place.[LNB] You get very frustrated when you can't get fit. He's a great lad with a great attitude and I know how desperate he is to play. We feel very sorry that he's not able to do that.[LNB] He's going to have another operation. We're currently trying to find the best surgeon for him so he can have it as quickly as possible.[LNB] As for timescales, it's too early to say. The surgeon will speak to Mark before he does the operation to tell him exactly how long the rehab should take but it's going to be a long period.[LNB] Howe added: Mark has tried everything and done everything by the book. It's not a common injury and we tried to take the least obtrusive option.[LNB] We were trying to get him fit without having to operate in a delicate area. Steve Hard and Mark agreed that would probably be the best way to go.[LNB] Unfortunately, it didn't work so now we have to go for the most drastic method, which is an operation and a long time out.[LNB]
