CHAIRMAN Eddie Mitchell refused to rule out bringing in a manager before Tuesday's trip to Rochdale and revealed interest had already been shown in replacing Burnley-bound Eddie Howe.[LNB] Howe is set to officially complete a move to Turf Moor this weekend after taking charge of his 100th and final match in charge of Cherries in front of the Sky Sports cameras at Colchester United last night.[LNB] Speaking to the Daily Echo ahead of kick-off at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, Mitchell said: If it materialises that Eddie goes to Burnley, then we've got to have a serious look at what we're going to do in the next few days.[LNB] I'll constantly be thinking about that possibility and I don't want to disclose anything now. We've got various things in mind.[LNB] Asked if he had heard from potential candidates, Mitchell said: Yes we have, several. I wouldn't want to name them, obviously.[LNB] Tuesday is four days away and a lot can be done in four days. We wouldn't rule out bringing in somebody.[LNB] We're not going to be rushed into anything. I think Eddie has set up the playing side of the club very well and it will be a great opportunity for somebody to come in and carry on his good work.[LNB] Mitchell added: I'm a great admirer of Eddie and Jason. They've done fantastically for the club as players and managers.[LNB] I wish them all the best. I'm sure we'll see more of them on the television as time goes on and I hope we can stay in touch with them as a club and personally.[LNB] The Daily Echo understands club captain Steve Fletcher and senior professional Lee Bradbury are in line to take caretaker charge against Rochdale.[LNB] The Echo has also been contacted by two possible candidates for the Dean Court job one of whom is a former Premier League star.[LNB]
