EDDIE Mitchell's ongoing legal wrangle with former club Dorchester Town has now been resolved with the Cherries chief reaching an out-of-court settlement with Magpies.[LNB] Magpies sought legal action against ex-majority shareholder Mitchell earlier this season following a dispute over club funds.[LNB] But Avenue Stadium chairman Shaun Hearn, who did not wish to divulge the particulars of the dispute or the settlement, said: Everything's been sorted. It was all done mutually and amicably, everything is back on course and we can just move on and hit the ground running next season.[LNB] Mitchell stepped down from his role at the Avenue Stadium last June following his takeover of Cherries alongside the Murry Group.[LNB] Mitchell said: Shaun is a local guy who has put his neck on the line and he needs the support of Dorchester. There was never anything between the two of us, the legal issues were simply business-related and I hope Shaun succeeds at the club.[LNB] We at Bournemouth want to help and we'll look to organise a friendly match in pre-season because I've still got a soft spot for the club.[LNB]
