Cherries: Keeper Flahavan signs

Cherries have today completed the signing of goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan on a one-year contract.[LNB] The 32-year-old stopper joins the Dean Court club on a free transfer from south coast neighbours Portsmouth.[LNB] Flahavan worked with Cherries goalkeeping coach Neil Moss at Southampton and played with boss Lee Bradbury at Southend United.[LNB] He is expected to provide competition for the number one jersey alongside Shwan Jalal, who revealed in today's Echo that talks over his new contract had hit the buffers.[LNB] More on this story in tomorrow's Echo.[LNB]
