Cherries: Jalal rocked by injury blow

Cherries goalkeeper Shwan Jalal is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after suffering a fractured eye socket.[LNB] Jalal sustained the injury during the closing stages of Cherries' 2-2 draw at Leyton Orient on Saturday.[LNB] He was today due to see a consultant and was expected to discover he would require an operation.[LNB] The 27-year-old is likely to be out for a minimum of six weeks should he have to undergo surgery.[LNB] Deputy Jon Stewart will don the gloves for tonight's clash against Yeovil Town.[LNB] Meanwhile, midfielder Marc Pugh is expected to be laid up for a fortnight after sustaining a gashed leg at Brisbane Road.[LNB] He took 11 stitches to the wound after falling on a metal sprinkler.[LNB]
