Dale skipper, Ryan Jones, came out in support of Lee Bradbury and his first team charges, being quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "Bournemouth are a good team and are probably in a false position. There has been a lot of criticism of the chairman that I have been reading, but they have got some good players. They are in the same boat as us. They lost a lot of good players from last season and it is a rebuilding stage they are going through. I think they will be fine. We are in exactly the same position as Bournemouth are now. We lost a manager and four or five of our best players, as Bournemouth did, and I think it is a rebuilding stage for both clubs. Hopefully, we will both be fine in this league".
